Residential Programs

We offer safe, affordable supported housing with varying levels of care for our adult clients living with severe and persistent mental illness.

Twitchell House was built in 1894 as part of the growing NH Hospital campus. At the time it was designed to offer 鈥渕ore patient freedom in a homelike setting.鈥

Today, Twitchell House is a 15-bed residential treatment program for adults living with a severe and persistent mental illness who require 24-hour care.

A certified community residence, Twitchell House is licensed annually by the NH Department of Health and Human Services.

The late 19th century house on Fayette Street in the heart of downtown Concord provides safe and stable housing for nine individuals who are at increased risk of homelessness.

Residents participate in programming which enhances recovery skills and supports their efforts to develop independence, confidence, and comfort in the community. Staff members assist residents in managing their symptoms and following their treatment plans.

For several decades, this late 19th century home in Boscawen was part of McKerley鈥檚 Nursing Home. When McKerley鈥檚 closed its doors in the early 1990s, we purchased the property to help meet the growing need for supported, community-based housing.

Today Mill House has 19 one bedroom and studio apartments for low-income individuals who need moderate levels of support. The program鈥檚 goal is to promote recovery at the highest level of independent living.
